  7. Use of Donations General Use of Donations
    • Unless explicitly stated by the donor at the time of contribution, all donations to Bind The Gap are considered unrestricted and will be allocated based on our fair assessment of the most urgent needs within our mission. Trustees will determine the allocation accordingly. This flexibility allows us to direct resources to areas where they can have the greatest impact.

    • If a donor specifies that their contribution should support a particular fund, project, or initiative, Bind The Gap will make every effort to honor this request. However, in circumstances where the specified initiative is fully funded or no longer viable, we reserve the right to redirect the donation to a similar or related program in alignment with our objectives. The allocation and distribution of funds across current projects will be transparently shared in our yearly activity report.
  9. Corporate & In-Kind Donations
    • For corporate partners donating IT equipment, educational tools, or other in-kind contributions, Bind The Gap will determine the best use of these resources to benefit schools and students in need. Where feasible, we will collaborate with corporate donors to align their contributions with our programs and outreach efforts.

    • To add Gift Aid to your donation, you need to make a Gift Aid declaration, confirming that you have paid or will pay an amount of Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax for the current tax year that is at least equal to the amount of tax that you donate to will reclaim on your gifts for the same period.
  11. Donor Communication & Recognition
