Murat is an Izmir-born, London based activist and technology leader working in the IT/Telecom industry for more than two decades with a focus on tech-for-good. Living outside Turkey in several countries across the globe since 2003, he got involved in multiple Corporate Social Responsibility Projects along with volunteer work and committed to bringing positive impact back home via changing the lives of children who have educational and poverty challenges.
Resident of Guildford for the past seven years, Aytunc works in the organisation for the purpose of managing the resources efficiently and allowing the charity to fulfil its mission of making a difference in the lives of those in need. In addition to his role, he’s working as a sales manager in a technology company with over 15 years of experience in the private sector, specialised in service provider market. Happily married and a father to a wonderful daughter, he loves Mediterranean, an avid sports enthusiast, reader and always seeking knowledge and inspiration.
Alper’s story began in Izmir, Turkey, and his career in technology has led him to the UK, where he has lived since 2015. He works as a technology executive, is deeply passionate about digital innovation, and helps companies with digital transformation and business strategy. Alper’s focus is on making a positive impact; a theme that resonates throughout his professional and personal life. He is a devoted father of two wonderful boys, a music enthusiast, and is committed to making a lasting difference in children’s lives.
Born and raised in Istanbul, Gözde’s life is fueled by curiosity and compassion. Her mission is to empower those less fortunate and build resilience in their lives and being among the champions for change. Since relocating to the UK in 2017, she has dedicated herself to volunteering for both refugees and children in need.
As an executive representative of the United Nations at a leading technology company, Gözde tirelessly supports the UN and its observers. Her core values—empathy, justice, and kindness—guide her every action. In her spare time, you’ll find her immersed in DIY projects, buried in books, or exploring nature on long hikes.
Gözde’s unwavering commitment drives her to create lasting change and ensure a brighter future for these children.
Baris, born in 1978 in Nigde, Turkey, cherishes his roots and community spirit. Now living in Guildford, Surrey, he has a 24-year career in telecommunications, in sales and business development. He spent 15 years with a professional dance group in Turkey, performing internationally. Passionate about music, Baris plays multiple instruments. A dedicated volunteer, he advocates for community betterment and envisions a brighter future for children.
